Lake Nebagamon Schools

The first school in Lake Nebagamon was built by Frederick Weyerhauser for the children of his employees in 1894 where the present school now stands on the corner of First Street South and Second Avenue West. When the second school was built in 1899 on what is now the playground, the first school uas used for the primary grades. A footbridge was used to reach the school before a road was constructed.
